I may want to go somewhere warm too, but I am Canadian and I do not see me leaving anytime soon. Even if I had all the money in the world, I would travel but I would end back here in Canada.
I say Victoria, but it would probably be somewhere else on the island. With the exception of this year there is not much winter. It is beautiful... ocean and mountains in the same breath taking view.

How can it get better than that really??

You have to see it to experience it, it is breath taking and the people are fantastic!

with the launch of my new website I have been motivated to do another website also.
It will not detail my health journey but my online journey of making money.

I started out many years ago as a young stay at home mom looking for a little bit of cash to earn, i went to many garage sales and thrift stores and bargain shops and I built a good inventory and created an ebay store.

From there I found niches that were better than others (books and salt and pepper shakers) and then I progressed. I tried MLM after MLM and was excited when I found Melaleuca because they actually paid me month in and month out.

My website is still bigredfridge.com and the message boards on that site have now been launched.

I could add so many more than three... some id be embarrassed to admit, in fact celine dion I drive all night is an excellent driving song... for a celine dion song. And I love the eagles and ozzy, but there are some kicking country songs that I like to drive to also. Nickleback Animals... ooooooh I definitely should have put that one in. LOL The trip to Jasper was three and a half hours, I think i only managed to listen to that cd four times?? LOL

I can not tell you how many times I watched this movie.. to the point that the boys could mouth all the words to the movie with the volume off. But I have to say at the point that he stands there pointing his "gun" and says "Say hello to my little friend... " it made me chuckle. I could smell the cheese... lol soooo cheesey.
I also laughed when his "friend" got slapped by the girl and he walks away and says " fu$%ing lesbian" LOL

I forgot to tell you about my other resolution of the year. It was not only to get back to financial business, but also to get myself back to the prebaby weight. Yup, I gained it all after taking five years to lose it from the first one. The second one is now four years old and it is time I quit making excuses and start right now to get back to where I was before.

After an insane Christmas filled with treats and chocolates and cookies and more cookies I decided enough was enough.

My sweetie bought me a wii fit… which I love, and I went out and got Jillian Michaels for the Wii too. It is tough sometimes… but not always enough. I have had a few pounds success.

I did a body cleanse and that was interesting. I have hypothyroid, so I need more iron and more iodine in my system. I need to stop eating chips and chocolate and probably should give up on the coffee too, but I figure I don’t smoke and I VERY rarely drink I don’t think that it is fair if I give up coffee too.

So instead, starting next week, my girlfriend and I are going to start doing a boot camp once a week and aqua size once a week and then figure another day or two in the gym will be good too.

Not sure with two plus two kids how I am going to do this.. but I have to start somewhere..

Wish us luck. We both need it!

Following someone else's financial freedom journey

So this guy I work with has inspired me a little bit to get back to where I had started a few years ago. Finding financial freedom.
He is a little bit more optimistic than me and so I am following his journey to financial freedom with baited breath.
I have my fingers crossed for him as I sit back and watch, for two reasons, even though I know it will be much later on, and probably too late for me to ride any coat tails.. I know that if he can do it, then so should I be able to. He is braver than me... maybe because he is ok with taking risks that I have already taken and failed with, or because he is more positive than me.... an optimist rather than a pessimist... I am sure, if he stumbles on this he will laugh to himself. YES I AM ADMITTING I am a negative pessimist at the worst of times.
And secondly, I truly hope he succeeds. He is a great person and I believe that he has it in him to do great things.

I would be leary in this economic state to invest in properties, but he feels it is the way to go.. so I keep my eyes out. I suppose I am a little bit ahead of the game... I do own a rental property.

So I asked myself the other day after I had been emailing back and forth with him why it was that I felt I should just follow his progress rather than start my own?

I have owned a website for probably 5 years... and all this time I was missing out on the revenues that are possible from there.. because I gave up maintaining it.. so I started to refresh it.
But as I rewrite it, I realize that I have figure out what audience am I targeting?

Other moms? Parents? Kids? Craft ideas, fitness ideas, stay at home and make money ideas? I have a little first hand knowledge about alot of things... what should I design an entire website around that will bring the droves of people I need to the website to help generate that adsense income?

I want to hear from you out there.. there are so many people out there who are making money online. I want to be one of them. I have done the ebay route.. I did the direct sales. I have tried almost every MLM out there. Only one have I stuck with.

What are you guys doing? While I follow one person... I hope to find the niche that will help me.
